Section
123.187,
subsection
2,
paragraph
c,
Code

2015,
is
amended
to
read
as
follows:

c.
An
application
submitted
pursuant
to
paragraph
“a”
3
shall
also
be
accompanied
by
a
bond
in
the
amount
of
five
4
thousand
dollars
in
the
form
prescribed
and
furnished
by
the
5
division
with
good
and
sufficient
sureties
to
be
approved
by
6
the
division
conditioned
upon
compliance
with
this
chapter
.

However,
a
wine
manufacturer
that
has
submitted
a
bond
pursuant
8
to
section
123.175,
subsection
3,
shall
not
be
required
to
9
provide
a
bond
as
provided
in
this
paragraph.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
12
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
a
wine
manufacturer
that
has
14
submitted
a
bond
pursuant
to
Code
section
123.175,
subsection
15
3,
in
an
application
for
a
class
“A”
wine
permit
shall
not
be
16
required
to
also
provide
a
bond
in
an
application
for
a
wine
17
direct
shipper
license
under
Code
section
123.187.
