Section
35B.6,
subsection
2,
Code
2017,
is

amended
by
adding
the
following
new
paragraph:

PARAGRAPH

c.
Neither
a
county
board
of
supervisors

nor
a
county
commission
of
veteran
affairs
shall
place
the

administration
of
the
duties
of
the
county
commission
of
5
veteran
affairs
under
any
other
agency
of
any
county.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
neither
a
county
board
of
10
supervisors
nor
a
county
commission
of
veteran
affairs
shall
11
place
the
administration
of
the
duties
of
the
county
commission
12
of
veteran
affairs
under
any
other
agency
of
any
county.
