| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 352

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 352 as follows:

| 3 | on page 1, by replacing line 5 with "Sections 2.30, 2.30b, | ||||||
| 4 | 2.33, and 2.33a and by adding Section 2.30c as follows:"; and
| ||||||
| 5 | on page 4, by inserting immediately below line 3 the following:

| 6 | "(520 ILCS 5/2.30c new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 2.30c. Bobcat hunting and trapping permit; fee. Before | ||||||
| 8 | any person may lawfully hunt or trap a bobcat, he or she shall | ||||||
| 9 | first obtain a "Bobcat Hunting and Trapping Permit" in | ||||||
| 10 | accordance with regulations set forth in an administrative rule | ||||||
| 11 | of the Department. The fee for a Bobcat Hunting and Trapping | ||||||
| 12 | Permit, if any, shall not exceed $5. The Department may limit | ||||||
| 13 | the number of Bobcat Hunting and Trapping Permits that are made | ||||||
| 14 | available each season and take other actions to regulate | ||||||
| 15 | harvest in accordance with Sections 1.3 and 2.30 of this Act.".
