| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 659, AS AMENDED, | ||||||
| 3 | with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. | ||||||
| 4 | 1, on page 1, line 16, by replacing "Protection Act and rules | ||||||
| 5 | adopted under that Act." with the following:

| 6 | "Protection Act and rules adopted under that Act. | ||||||
| 7 | (c) If the sanitary district participates in a nutrient | ||||||
| 8 | trading program under subsection (a), the sanitary district | ||||||
| 9 | shall give preference to trading investments: (i) that will | ||||||
| 10 | benefit low income or rural communities; and (ii) where local | ||||||
| 11 | water quality improvements can be realized.".
