AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2622
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2622 on page 4, by
replacing lines 20 through 22 with "100th General Assembly, the
Director shall make a loan to the Illinois Employers Mutual
Insurance Company of $10,000,000 from"; and
on page 7, line 10, by replacing "2018" with "2019"; and
on page 7, line 11, by replacing "2019" with "2020"; and
on page 7, line 12, by replacing "2020" with "2021"; and
on page 7, line 14, by replacing "2021" with "2022"; and
on page 8, line 2, after "insurance;", by inserting "however,
nothing in this Section shall be construed to prohibit an
individual who previously had an interest in an insurance
entity that writes workers' compensation insurance or whose

affiliates write workers' compensation insurance from being
appointed to the Board;"; and
on page 8, line 8, after "insurance;", by inserting "however,
nothing in this Section shall be construed to prohibit an
individual who previously had an interest in an insurance
entity that writes workers' compensation insurance or whose
affiliates write workers' compensation insurance from being
appointed to the Board;"; and
on page 9, immediately below line 4, by inserting the
following:
"(f) The Board shall reflect the ethnic, cultural, and
geographical diversity of the State."; and
on page 12 by replacing lines 22 through 24 with "State."; and
on page 13, line 13, by replacing "August 1, 2017" with "July
1, 2018"; and
on page 13, line 22, by replacing "2018" with "2019".
