AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3462
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3462 by replacing
everything after the enacting clause with the following:
"Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section
27-23.13 as follows:
(105 ILCS 5/27-23.13 new)
Sec. 27-23.13. Hunting safety program. A school district
may offer its students an after-school or school program
consisting of a course on hunting safety. The State Board of
Education may prepare and make available to school boards
resources regarding hunting safety that may be used as
guidelines for the development of the program under this
Section.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.".
