AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4180
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4180 as follows:
on page 15, line 18, after "101-580)", by inserting "and
before the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd
General Assembly"; and
on page 15, immediately below line 24, by inserting the
following:
"(4.3) For an individual or group policy of accident
and health insurance or a managed care plan that is
amended, delivered, issued, or renewed on or after the
effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General
Assembly, a comprehensive ultrasound screening and MRI of
an entire breast or breasts if a mammogram demonstrates
heterogeneous or dense breast tissue or when medically
necessary as determined by a physician licensed to
practice medicine in all of its branches, advanced

practice registered nurse, or physician assistant."; and
on page 21, line 14, after "101-580)", by inserting "and
before the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd
General Assembly"; and
