AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4819
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4819 by replacing
line 15 on page 14 through line 11 on page 15 with the
following:
"(6) The Department of Corrections shall provide lactation
or nursing mothers rooms for personnel of the Department. The
rooms shall be provided in each facility of the Department
that employs nursing mothers. Each individual lactation room
must:
(i) contain doors that lock;
(ii) have an "Occupied" sign for each door;
(iii) contain electrical outlets for plugging in
breast pumps;
(iv) have sufficient lighting and ventilation;
(v) contain comfortable chairs;
(vi) contain a countertop or table for all necessary
supplies for lactation;
(vii) contain a wastebasket and chemical cleaners to
