Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act. Provides that collective bargaining agreements governed by the Act and entered into on and after the effective date of the amendatory Act may not include a provision that permits employees to be late to work without a corresponding deduction in pay. AN ACT concerning government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Public Labor Relations Act is
amended by adding Section 11.5 as follows:
(5 ILCS 315/11.5 new)
Sec. 11.5. Terms; late to work. Collective bargaining
agreements governed by this Act and entered into on and after
the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 99th General
Assembly may not include a provision that permits employees to
be late to work without a corresponding deduction in pay.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
