| 1 | AN ACT concerning regulation.

| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, | |||||||||||||||||||
| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by changing | |||||||||||||||||||
| 5 | Section 13-214 as follows:

| 8 | Sec. 13-214.
(a) "Public mobile services" means | |||||||||||||||||||

| 10 | telecommunications services, offshore
radio, rural radio | |||||||||||||||||||
| 11 | service, public land mobile telephone service and
and other

| 12 | common carrier radio communications services. | |||||||||||||||||||
| 13 | (b) "Private radio services" means private land mobile | |||||||||||||||||||
| 14 | radio services
and other communications services characterized | |||||||||||||||||||
| 15 | by the Commission as
private radio services.
