AN ACT concerning business.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Uniform Partnership Act (1997) is amended
by changing Section 1002 as follows:
(805 ILCS 206/1002)
Sec. 1002. Name. The The name of a limited liability
partnership must end with "Registered Limited Liability
Partnership", "Limited Liability Partnership", "R.L.L.P.",
"L.L.P.", "RLLP", or "LLP".
