2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Uniform Commercial Code is amended by
5changing Section 1-104 as follows:
6 (810 ILCS 5/1-104) (from Ch. 26, par. 1-104)
7 Sec. 1-104. Construction against implied repeal. The The
8Uniform Commercial Code being a general Act intended as a
9unified coverage of its subject matter, no part of it shall be
10deemed to be impliedly repealed by subsequent legislation if
11such construction can reasonably be avoided.
