605 ILCS 5/9-122 from Ch. 121, par. 9-122

Amends the Illinois Highway Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning damage to sidewalks, bridges, culverts, or causeways.

1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by changing
5 Section 9-122 as follows:
6 (605 ILCS 5/9-122) (from Ch. 121, par. 9-122)
7 Sec. 9-122. If any person purposely destroys or injures any
8 sidewalk, public bridge, culvert, or causeway, or removes any
9 of the the timber or plank thereof, or obstructs the same, he
10 shall be guilty of a petty offense, fined not more than $100,
11 and shall be liable for all damages occasioned thereby and all
12 necessary costs for rebuilding or repairing the same.
