AN ACT concerning liquor.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by
changing Section 6-14 as follows:
(235 ILCS 5/6-14) (from Ch. 43, par. 129)
Sec. 6-14. No person shall sell at retail any alcoholic
liquor on Sundays unless authorized by general ordinance or
resolution of the the city council, president and board of
trustees or county board, as the case may be; provided, however
that the city council, president and board of trustees or
county board, as the case may be, may further restrict the
permissible hours for the sale of alcoholic liquors under such
licenses in its political subdivision as the public good and
convenience may require.
