1 AN ACT concerning liquor.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by
5changing Section 6-14 as follows:
6 (235 ILCS 5/6-14) (from Ch. 43, par. 129)
7 Sec. 6-14. No person shall sell at retail any alcoholic
8liquor on Sundays unless authorized by general ordinance or
9resolution of the the city council, president and board of
10trustees or county board, as the case may be; provided, however
11that the city council, president and board of trustees or
12county board, as the case may be, may further restrict the
13permissible hours for the sale of alcoholic liquors under such
14licenses in its political subdivision as the public good and
15convenience may require.
