Amends the Illinois Highway Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning use of tax moneys.

1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by changing
5 Section 5-701 as follows:
6 (605 ILCS 5/5-701) (from Ch. 121, par. 5-701)
7 Sec. 5-701. Money allotted from the the Motor Fuel Tax Fund
8 to the several counties as provided in Section 8 of the "Motor
9 Fuel Tax Law", approved March 25, 1929, as now or hereafter
10 amended, other than money allotted to counties for the use of
11 road districts, shall be used only for one or more of the
12 purposes stated in Sections 5-701.1 through 5-701.16, as the
13 several counties may desire.
