Bill Title: Amends the School Code. Provides that if there are 3 or more elementary school districts in a township that are subject to the jurisdiction of the trustees of schools of that township, then no 2 trustees shall reside in the same elementary school district (instead of providing that if there are 3 or more school districts in a township that are subject to the jurisdiction of the trustees of schools of that township, then no 2 trustees shall reside, when elected, in the same school district), with an exception.

| 5 | on page 5, line 19, after "143,", by inserting "Posen-Robbins | ||||||
| 6 | Elementary School District 143-5,"; and
| ||||||
| 7 | on page 5, line 21, by deleting "and"; and
| ||||||
| 8 | on page 5, line 21, after "228", by inserting ", and the | ||||||
| 9 | Southwest Cook County Cooperative Association for Special | ||||||
| 10 | Education"; and
| ||||||
| 11 | on page 6, line 17, after the period, by inserting "If the | ||||||
| 12 | school boards of all school districts withdraw from the | ||||||
| 13 | jurisdiction and authority of the trustees of schools of Bremen | ||||||
| 14 | Township and the township treasurer, then the offices of such | ||||||

| |||||||
| 1 | trustees and treasurer shall be deemed abolished by operation | ||||||
| 2 | of law beginning on January 1 of the calendar year immediately | ||||||
| 3 | following the calendar year in which the last school board to | ||||||
| 4 | withdraw passes its resolution of withdrawal."; and
| ||||||
| 5 | on page 16, immediately below line 15, by inserting the | ||||||
| 6 | following: | ||||||
| 7 | "In addition and in the alternative, the offices of | ||||||
| 8 | township treasurer and trustees of schools in Bremen Township | ||||||
| 9 | may be abolished by operation of law as provided in subsection | ||||||
| 10 | (b) of this Section.".
