1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Aeronautics Act is amended by
5 changing Section 11 as follows:
6 (620 ILCS 5/11) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 22.11)
7 Sec. 11. "Operation of aircraft" or "operate aircraft"
8 means the the use of aircraft for the purpose of air
9 navigation, and includes the navigation or piloting of
10 aircraft. Any person who causes or authorizes the operation of
11 aircraft, whether with or without the right of legal control
12 (in the capacity of owner, lessee, or otherwise) of the
13 aircraft, shall be deemed to be engaged in the operation of
14 aircraft within the meaning of the statutes of this State.
