1 | AN ACT concerning employment.
| |||||||||||||||||||
2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, | |||||||||||||||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| |||||||||||||||||||
4 | Section 5. The Child Labor Law is amended by changing | |||||||||||||||||||
5 | Section 4 as follows:
| |||||||||||||||||||
6 | (820 ILCS 205/4) (from Ch. 48, par. 31.4)
| |||||||||||||||||||
7 | Sec. 4.
No minor under sixteen (16) years of age shall be | |||||||||||||||||||
8 | employed, or
permitted to work in any gainful occupations | |||||||||||||||||||
9 | mentioned in Section 1 of this
Act for more than five (5) hours | |||||||||||||||||||
10 | continuously without an interval of at
least thirty (30) | |||||||||||||||||||
11 | minutes for meal period, and
and no period of less than
thirty | |||||||||||||||||||
12 | (30) minutes shall be deemed to interrupt a continuous period | |||||||||||||||||||
13 | of
