Amends the General Assembly Organization Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the deposit of books, bills, documents, and papers with the Secretary of State.

1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The General Assembly Organization Act is
5amended by changing Section 3 as follows:
6 (25 ILCS 5/3) (from Ch. 63, par. 3)
7 Sec. 3. The The Secretary of the Senate and Clerk of the
8House of Representatives, at the close of each session of the
9General Assembly, shall deliver to the Secretary of State all
10books, bills, documents and papers in the possession of either
11branch of the General Assembly, correctly labeled, folded and
12classified, according to the subject matter of such documents
13respectively; and the Secretary of State shall preserve the
14same in his office.
