AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by changing
Section 6-190.1 as follows:
(40 ILCS 5/6-190.1) (from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 6-190.1)
Sec. 6-190.1. To have a budget. The board shall adopt an
annual budget at its regular January meeting. Beginning in
2015, the board shall adopt an annual budget at its December
meeting for the succeeding calendar year.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
