1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Highway Advertising Control Act of 1971 is
5amended by adding Section 4.09 as follows:
6 (225 ILCS 440/4.09 new)
7 Sec. 4.09. Tourist oriented directional signs. The
8Department may post tourist oriented directional signs at
9intersections in rural areas at all sections of rural
10non-freeways except those passing through urban areas with
11populations of 7,000 or more.
12 Section 10. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by adding
13Section 9-112.7 as follows:
