AN ACT concerning transportation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Highway Advertising Control Act of 1971 is
amended by adding Section 4.09 as follows:
(225 ILCS 440/4.09 new)
Sec. 4.09. Tourist oriented directional signs. The
Department may post tourist oriented directional signs at
intersections in rural areas at all sections of rural
non-freeways except those passing through urban areas with
populations of 7,000 or more.
Section 10. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by adding
Section 9-112.7 as follows:
