AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Department of Veterans Affairs Act is
amended by adding Section 38 as follows:

Sec. 38. Breast and cervical cancer screening program.
Subject to appropriation, the Department shall establish and
administer a program to ensure that female veterans receive
breast and cervical cancer screenings as they transition to
civilian life. The Department shall establish eligibility
requirements by rule and shall adopt any other rules necessary
to implement and operate the program established under this
Section.
