2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Department of Veterans Affairs Act is
5amended by adding Section 38 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 2805/38 new)
7 Sec. 38. Breast and cervical cancer screening program.
8Subject to appropriation, the Department shall establish and
9administer a program to ensure that female veterans receive
10breast and cervical cancer screenings as they transition to
11civilian life. The Department shall establish eligibility
12requirements by rule and shall adopt any other rules necessary
13to implement and operate the program established under this
14Section.
