Bill Title: Amends the Intergovernmental Cooperation Act. Provides that any 2 or more school districts may, by intergovernmental agreement, establish a mutually beneficial technology exchange program to provide for the sharing of education resources, including computers, tablets, electronic readers, and other technology.

1 | AN ACT concerning government.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 5. The Intergovernmental Cooperation Act is | |||||||||||||||||||
5 | amended by adding Section 3.10 as follows:

7 | Sec. 3.10. School district technology exchange. Any 2 or | |||||||||||||||||||
8 | more school districts as governed under the School Code may, | |||||||||||||||||||
9 | by intergovernmental agreement, establish a mutually | |||||||||||||||||||
10 | beneficial technology exchange program to provide for the | |||||||||||||||||||
11 | sharing of education resources, including computers, tablets, | |||||||||||||||||||
12 | electronic readers, and other technology.
