Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975. Provides that, upon collection of the fee accompanying the application for an occupation license or any other fees, the Board may make daily deposits of the fees with the organization licensee or the horsemen's bookkeeper at a race meeting. Provides that the organization licensee or the horsemen's bookkeeper shall either use ACH electronic transfer of funds or issue a check, payable to the order of the Illinois Racing Board, for monies deposited under the provision within 24 hours of receipt of the monies.

Amends the Horse Racing Act of 1975. Provides that, upon collection of the fee accompanying the application for an occupation license or any other fees, the Board may make daily deposits of the fees with the organization licensee or the horsemen's bookkeeper at a race meeting. AN ACT concerning gaming.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 is amended
by changing Section 15.1 as follows:
(230 ILCS 5/15.1) (from Ch. 8, par. 37-15.1)
Sec. 15.1. Upon collection of the fee accompanying the
application for an occupation license or any other fees, the
Board may shall be authorized to make daily temporary deposits
of the fees, for a period not to exceed 7 days, with the
organization licensee or the horsemen's bookkeeper at a race
meeting. The organization licensee or the horsemen's
bookkeeper shall either use ACH electronic transfer of funds or
issue a check, payable to the order of the Illinois Racing
Board, for monies deposited under this Section within 24 hours
of receipt of the monies. Upon Provided however, upon the
issuance of the check or the electronic transfer of funds by
the organization licensee or the horsemen's bookkeeper, the
check or funds shall be deposited into the Horse Racing Fund.
