1 AN ACT concerning employment.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Workers' Compensation Act is amended by
5adding Section 7.5 as follows:
6 (820 ILCS 305/7.5 new)
7 Sec. 7.5. COVID-19; no vaccine; no compensation. No
8compensation shall be payable for a death or disability
9arising out of an employee's exposure to COVID-19 if the
10employee has refused to take a COVID-19 vaccination.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12becoming law.
