Amends the Workers' Compensation Act. Provides that no compensation shall be awarded to a claimant for death or disability arising out of an exposure to COVID-19 if the employee has refused a vaccination. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning employment.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Workers' Compensation Act is amended by
adding Section 7.5 as follows:
(820 ILCS 305/7.5 new)
Sec. 7.5. COVID-19; no vaccine; no compensation. No
compensation shall be payable for a death or disability
arising out of an employee's exposure to COVID-19 if the
employee has refused to take a COVID-19 vaccination.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
