1 AN ACT concerning State government.


2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3represented in the General Assembly:



4 Section 5. The Department of Human Services Act is amended 
5by adding Section 10-71 as follows:

6 (20 ILCS 1305/10-71 new)
7 Sec. 10-71. Commission on Dependency and Addiction.
8 (a) The Department shall establish the Commission on 
9Dependency and Addiction. The purpose of the Commission shall 
10be to study fiscal matters regarding appropriating money 
11across statewide programs aimed at tackling substance 
12dependency and addiction.
13 (b) The Commission shall consist of members appointed by 
14the Department.
15 (c) The Department shall provide administrative assistance
