| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4310

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4310 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding | ||||||
| 5 | Section 5-115 as follows:
| ||||||
| 6 | (220 ILCS 5/5-115 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 5-115. Disclosure of customer information to a credit | ||||||
| 8 | bureau. Peoples Gas shall not report or otherwise disclose | ||||||
| 9 | customer record information to a credit bureau. Customer record | ||||||
| 10 | information includes, but is not limited to, social security | ||||||
| 11 | numbers, public aid numbers, and employment data. Nothing in | ||||||
| 12 | this Section shall affect the Commission's access to | ||||||
| 13 | information under this Act or any other law.
| ||||||
| 14 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 15 | becoming law.".
