1 AN ACT making continuing appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Medical District at Springfield Act
5 is amended by adding Section 17 as follows:
6 (70 ILCS 925/17 new)
7 Sec. 17. Continuing appropriations; FY11 through FY20. The
8 amount of $300,000, or so much of that amount as may be
9 necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
10 Illinois Medical District at Springfield for its ordinary and
11 contingent expenses in each of the following State fiscal
12 years: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019,
13 and 2020. The aggregate amount appropriated over those fiscal
14 years under this Section is $3,000,000. This Section
15 constitutes (i) an irrevocable and continuing appropriation of
16 those amounts and (ii) the irrevocable and continuing authority
17 and direction to the State Treasurer and the Comptroller to
18 make the required transfers out of and disbursements from the
19 revenues and funds of the State.
20 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
21 2010.
