AN ACT concerning State government.
| ||||
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||
represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||
Section 5. The Secretary of State Merit Employment Code is | ||||
amended by changing Section 10b.18 as follows:
| ||||
(15 ILCS 310/10b.18) (from Ch. 124, par. 110b.18)
| ||||
Sec. 10b.18. Veterans hospital visits. An employee who is | ||||
also a
veteran shall be permitted 4 2 days per year to visit a | ||||
veterans hospital for
examination of a military service | ||||
connected disability. The 4 2 days shall
not be charged against | ||||
any sick leave currently available to the employee.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||
becoming law.
