Bill Title: Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Central Management Services, in consultation with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, shall develop and implement a program allowing State employees to receive payment for unused vacation days which would go towards the payment of student loans. Allows for the adoption of rules.

| 1 | AN ACT concerning State government.

| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | Section 5. The Department of Central Management Services | |||||||||||||||||||

Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by | |||||||||||||||||||
| 6 | adding Section 113 as follows:

| 7 | (20 ILCS 405/113 new) | |||||||||||||||||||
| 8 | Sec. 113. State employee unused vacation days; student | |||||||||||||||||||
| 9 | loans. The Department, in consultation with the Illinois | |||||||||||||||||||
| 10 | Student Assistance Commission, shall develop and implement a | |||||||||||||||||||
| 11 | program allowing State employees to receive payment for unused | |||||||||||||||||||
| 12 | vacation days which would go towards the payment of student | |||||||||||||||||||
| 13 | loans. The Department may adopt rules necessary to implement | |||||||||||||||||||
| 14 | and administer the program established under this Section.
