HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report
on Waivers of School Code Mandates, dated February 22, 2024,
with the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the
Secretary of State of Illinois as required by Section 2-3.25g
of the School Code; and
WHEREAS, As per 105 ILCS 5/2-3.25g paragraph (d), the
waivers were presented to the General Assembly panel
consisting of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the
Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, the President
of the Senate, the Minority Leader of the Senate, and
responses of approval or denial for the waivers were returned
to the State Board of Education on or before March 7, 2024; and
WHEREAS, On March 26, 2024, the State Board of Education
submitted the alternative learning opportunities program
waiver request from Boone-Winnebago Regional Office of
Education 4 (W-100-7343) to the General Assembly for further
consideration; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the request made by
