2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Cory "CJ" | ||||||
4 | Lushon Foster Jr., who passed away on December 13, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Cory Foster Jr. was born in Oak Park to Cory Sr. | ||||||
6 | and Shindana Foster on September 28, 1996; he attended
Lincoln | ||||||
7 | Elementary School and graduated from the Living Word Christian
| ||||||
8 | Center; he attended St. Joseph High School and graduated from | ||||||
9 | Proviso
West High School; he was baptized on June 22, 2003 at | ||||||
10 | St. Michael Missionary Baptist Church, where he served
in the | ||||||
11 | Youth Choir and Audio and Video Ministry; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Cory Foster Jr. obtained his worker permit at the | ||||||
13 | age of 15; his first job was for the Village of Bellwood over | ||||||
14 | several
summers; he later went on to work at AAA
Rental, Blaze | ||||||
15 | Pizza, Dollar Tree, Gate Gourmet, Dicks Sporting
Goods, and | ||||||
16 | Walmart; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Cory Foster Jr. was affectionately known as | ||||||
18 | "Bump"; he enjoyed singing, playing the piano and drums, and | ||||||
19 | traveling across the country and around the world; he was | ||||||
20 | always helping others in any way he could; and
| ||||||
21 | WHEREAS, Cory Foster Jr. is survived by his parents, |

15 | mourn the passing of Cory "CJ" Lushon Foster Jr., and extend | ||||||
16 | our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who | ||||||
17 | knew and loved him; and be it further

18 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
19 | presented to the family of Cory Foster Jr. as an expression of | ||||||
