| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to honor Liz Collins as she steps | ||||||
| 4 | down from her position as president and CEO of the Plainfield | ||||||
| 5 | Area Chamber of Commerce; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Liz Collins joined the chamber 20 years ago and | ||||||
| 7 | volunteered on various committees for 7 years; she was | ||||||
| 8 | originally asked to do some computer work for the office and 3 | ||||||
| 9 | months later was offered the job of executive director; 2 years | ||||||
| 10 | later she was named president and CEO; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Liz Collins is stepping down to spend more time | ||||||
| 12 | with her family; she plans on spending time with her children | ||||||
| 13 | and grandchildren and traveling with her husband; therefore, be | ||||||
| 14 | it

| 15 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 16 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 17 | we honor Liz Collins as she steps down from her position as | ||||||
| 18 | president and CEO of the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce, | ||||||
| 19 | thank her for her service, and wish her the best in all her | ||||||
| 20 | future endeavours; and be it further

| 21 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
