HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the sudden and tragic
4death of Kayla Nicole Fannon of Peoria, who passed away on
5February 14, 2019; and
6 WHEREAS, Kayla Fannon was born to Thomas Fannon and
7Kristian Michelle Rora-Howe in Peoria on December 16, 1988;
8and
9 WHEREAS, Kayla Fannon was a homemaker; and
10 WHEREAS, Kayla Fannon enjoyed spending time with her
11family and friends, listening to music and dancing, and family
12vacations; and
13 WHEREAS, Kayla Fannon loved life and lived her life to the
14fullest; she will be remembered as a free spirit, who loved
15with all her heart; and
16 WHEREAS, Kayla Fannon was preceded in death by her mother;
17her maternal grandfather, James T. Rora; and her paternal
18grandfather, Bascum Fannon; and
19 WHEREAS, Kayla Fannon is survived by her father, Thomas

1(Janneke) Fannon; her four children, Jordan, Kayloni, Jaydyn
2and Aly'ana; her maternal grandmother, Jackie Rora; her
3paternal grandmother, Patricia (Robert "Ronnie") Wynn; her
4three sisters, Mercedes Fannon, Paige (Travis) Anderson, and
5Taylor Stasz; her one stepbrother, Chad (Ashley) Tucker; her
6aunt, Marni Rora; her three uncles, Todd (Melissa) Fannon, Tim
7(Barbie) Fannon, and Troy (Jill) Fannon; her nephew, Saint;
8and her several cousins; therefore, be it
9 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
10HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
11we mourn the passing of Kayla Fannon and extend our sincere
12condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
13her; and be it further
14 RESOLVED, That we recognize the need for people who suffer
15domestic violence to be taken seriously by the criminal
16justice system and the wider need in society to offer support
17to people who suffer domestic violence; and be it further
18 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of Kayla Fannon as an expression of our
20deepest sympathy.
