| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Joseph "Joe" Donnelly on | ||||||
| 4 | the occasion of his retirement from the Rosemont School Board | ||||||
| 5 | after 33 years of service; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Joe Donnelly was appointed to the Rosemont School | ||||||
| 7 | Board in 1986; he served as a member for three years and as | ||||||
| 8 | Board President for 30 years; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Joe Donnelly has overseen building improvements | ||||||
| 10 | that have maintained a standard of excellence for the | ||||||
| 11 | betterment of the curriculum; his goal has always been for | ||||||
| 12 | every student to receive the highest quality of education; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Joe Donnelly has always had the best interests of | ||||||
| 14 | the community at heart and excelled at balancing those best | ||||||
| 15 | interests with the resources available through the district; | ||||||
| 16 | and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Joe Donnelly moved to Rosemont with his family in | ||||||
| 18 | 1984; he volunteered, worked, and raised his family in | ||||||
| 19 | Rosemont; during his 33 years of service on the Rosemont School | ||||||
| 20 | Board, he had an impact on the lives of over 6,000 students, | ||||||
| 21 | four administrators, and a staff of 50 or more each year; | ||||||

| 1 | working with his fellow School Board members, he made a | ||||||
| 2 | difference every single day for the children who attended the | ||||||
| 3 | Rosemont School; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 5 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 6 | we congratulate Joseph "Joe" Donnelly on the occasion of his | ||||||
| 7 | retirement from the Rosemont School Board after 33 years of | ||||||
| 8 | service, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors; and | ||||||
| 9 | be it further

| 10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 11 | presented to Joe Donnelly as an expression of our esteem and | ||||||
