| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Sally A. McElfresh | ||||||
| 4 | on the occasion of her retirement from PNC Bank after 36 years | ||||||
| 5 | of dedicated service; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Sally McElfresh began her career in 1973 at the | ||||||
| 7 | then Commercial National Bank working part-time in the | ||||||
| 8 | purchasing department; she left to have children and begin | ||||||
| 9 | raising her family; she returned to the auditing department in | ||||||
| 10 | 1978; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Sally McElfresh has provided invaluable service | ||||||
| 12 | as an executive assistant to bank presidents Robert Steveson | ||||||
| 13 | and Douglas Stewart, executive vice-presidents Bruce "Skip" | ||||||
| 14 | Snyder and Brock Hessing Sr., finance officer Roger Allen, and | ||||||
| 15 | Kim Dixon in community relations and Kent Malone in corporate | ||||||
| 16 | banking; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Sally McElfresh, as an executive assistant to | ||||||
| 18 | vice-president David R. Leitch, was instrumental in the bank's | ||||||
| 19 | First Grant program, which over 28 years has provided nearly | ||||||
| 20 | $500,000 to area teachers with innovative classroom ideas; she | ||||||
| 21 | has assisted retired Executive Vice-President Warren Webber | ||||||
| 22 | with overseeing the Detweiller Trust; and

| 1 | WHEREAS, Sally McElfresh is looking forward to spending | ||||||
| 2 | more time with her husband, John; her children, Andrea, Rick, | ||||||
| 3 | Jessica, and Jennifer; and her grandchildren, Naomi, Nathan, | ||||||
| 4 | Carly Ann, Grant, Bella, Benjamin, and Jackson; therefore, be | ||||||
| 5 | it

| 6 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 7 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 8 | we congratulate Sally McElfresh on her outstanding career and | ||||||
| 9 | her retirement and wish her the best in all her future | ||||||
| 10 | endeavours; and be it further
