HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
Representatives wish to congratulate Family Focus of Aurora on
the occasion of the organization's 30th anniversary in 2013;
and
WHEREAS, Family Focus has served the Aurora area since
1983; and
WHEREAS, The mission of Family Focus is to promote the
wellbeing of children from birth by supporting and
strengthening their families in and within their communities;
and
WHEREAS, Family Focus offers services that help parents
with children ages 0-5 enhance their ability to provide and
advocate for their families; and
WHEREAS, Family Focus has formed many lasting partnerships
with other community-based organizations; and
WHEREAS, Through the various partnerships Family Focus has
dramatically improved the life of children in Aurora;
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
we congratulate the members of Family Focus of Aurora on the
occasion of the organization's 30th anniversary and we thank
them for their dedicated service to their community and wish
them well in the future; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to Family Focus of Aurora as an expression of our
esteem and respect.
