| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, At the age of four, Tyler Sliz of Libertyville | ||||||
| 3 | learned through his church about an organization called Sleep | ||||||
| 4 | in Heavenly Peace, which helps build, assemble, and deliver | ||||||
| 5 | bunk beds to children and families in need; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Shortly before turning five in October of 2019, | ||||||
| 7 | Tyler Sliz asked that guests to his birthday party bring pieces | ||||||
| 8 | of bedding instead of gifts so that he could donate it to Sleep | ||||||
| 9 | in Heavenly Peace; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Tyler Sliz's party guests brought bags of bedding | ||||||
| 11 | sets, blankets, pillows, and sheets, and he used the money he | ||||||
| 12 | received from two partygoers to buy more bedding; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Tyler Sliz has already donated over one hundred | ||||||
| 14 | pieces of bedding but has no plans of stopping his efforts; | ||||||
| 15 | therefore, be it

| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 17 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 18 | we commend Tyler Sliz on his thoughtful actions and thank him | ||||||
| 19 | for his commitment to helping others; and be it further
