| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Officer Timothy O. | ||||||
| 4 | Schaefer on the occasion of his retirement from the Lincolnwood | ||||||
| 5 | Police Department after 30 years of service; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Officer Schaefer served with the Lincolnwood | ||||||
| 7 | Police Department from October 16, 1985 to November 6, 2015; | ||||||
| 8 | and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Officer Schaefer has held numerous roles with the | ||||||
| 10 | Lincolnwood Police Department throughout the years, including | ||||||
| 11 | Beverage Alcohol Sales Servers Education Training Instructor,
| ||||||
| 12 | Evidence Technician,
Firearms Instructor,
Firearms Range | ||||||
| 13 | Officer,
Motorcycle Officer,
Traffic Enforcement Officer,

| 14 | Traffic Accident Investigator,
Traffic Grant Coordinator,

| 15 | Liaison to the Village of Lincolnwood Traffic Commission,

| 16 | Certified Breathalyzer Officer, and
Certified Car Seat | ||||||

| 18 | WHEREAS, Officer Schaefer has received numerous accolades | ||||||
| 19 | during his career; he received 9 Honorable Mentions and 10 | ||||||
| 20 | Commendatory Letters from the Lincolnwood Police Department; | ||||||
| 21 | he also received a Letter of Appreciation from the United | ||||||
| 22 | States Postal Inspectors Office and numerous commendatory | ||||||

| 1 | letters and letters of appreciation from the public; and
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, Officer Schaefer is a member of the German | ||||||
| 3 | American Police Association, the International Police | ||||||
| 4 | Association, the Polish American Police Association, and | ||||||
| 5 | Illinois Traffic Safety Leaders; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 7 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 8 | congratulate Officer Timothy O. Schaefer on his retirement from | ||||||
| 9 | the Lincolnwood Police Department after 30 years of service and | ||||||
| 10 | we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it | ||||||
| 11 | further
