3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Ethan S. | ||||||
4 | Barnes of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 19, | ||||||
5 | 2022; and

6 | WHEREAS, Ethan Barnes was born to Haywood S. Barnes Jr. | ||||||
7 | and Andrea M. Garr-Barnes; he lived in New Bedford, | ||||||
8 | Massachusetts before moving to Fairhaven, Massachusetts 10 | ||||||
9 | years ago; he was scheduled to complete his bachelor's degree | ||||||
10 | in Construction Management at Wentworth Institute of | ||||||
11 | Technology in Boston, Massachusetts in the summer of 2022; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Ethan Barnes was a proud member of United | ||||||
13 | Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local #328 | ||||||
14 | in Wilmington, Massachusetts for several years; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Ethan Barnes enjoyed being with his children and | ||||||
16 | his dog, Minnie; he also enjoyed coaching the New Bedford | ||||||
17 | Bears football team, riding his Harley motorcycle, camping | ||||||
18 | with friends, attending New England Patriots and Boston | ||||||
19 | Celtics games, and traveling with his companion, Carly; and

20 | WHEREAS, Ethan Barnes was the youngest grandson of the | ||||||
21 | late Maurice "Mickey" Garr, Haywood S. Barnes Sr., and Louise |

2 | WHEREAS, Ethan Barnes is survived by his parents; his | ||||||
3 | children, Easton Barnes and Nia Barnes; his children's mother, | ||||||

5 | Haywood (Nakita) Smart Barnes III and Maurice (Angela) Garr | ||||||
6 | Barnes; his grandmother, Millicent L. Garr; his nieces and | ||||||

Ethan S. Barnes and extend our sincere
