| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate the Burbank National | ||||||
| 4 | Little League Junior Division and the Burbank National Little | ||||||
| 5 | League Senior Division on their recent achievements; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League is a nonprofit | ||||||
| 7 | youth organization and a charter member of Little League | ||||||
| 8 | Baseball and Softball; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League has won over | ||||||
| 10 | 80 Little League championships, from the district level all | ||||||
| 11 | the way up to the national level, over the past 35 years; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League Junior | ||||||
| 13 | Division won the state championship and competed in the | ||||||
| 14 | championship game for the Central Region in 2022; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League Senior | ||||||
| 16 | Division won the state and Central Region championships, | ||||||
| 17 | competing in the Senior League Baseball World Series in 2022; | ||||||
