| 2 | WHEREAS, Melanie Falk began her career with the City of | ||||||
| 3 | Macomb on July 19, 1982 as a secretary in the Zoning and | ||||||
| 4 | Assessor's Office; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, In March of 1986, Melanie Falk transferred to the | ||||||
| 6 | City Clerk's Office as a Secretary II, was later promoted to | ||||||
| 7 | the position of Executive Secretary, and was then appointed | ||||||
| 8 | Deputy City Clerk in December of 1994; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Melanie Falk campaigned and was elected as Macomb | ||||||
| 10 | City Clerk in February 1999 and was sworn into office on May | ||||||
| 11 | 4th of that year; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Melanie Falk continued to be re-elected for six | ||||||
| 13 | additional consecutive four-year terms; she was sworn into | ||||||
| 14 | office in May of 2003, May of 2007, May of 2011, May of 2015, | ||||||
| 15 | and May of 2019; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Melanie Falk is supported by her loving husband, | ||||||
| 17 | Mike, her daughters, Morgan and Macie, and her grandsons, | ||||||
| 18 | Rhett and Easton; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Melanie Falk is celebrating her 40th anniversary | ||||||
| 20 | serving the City of Macomb and its citizens; therefore, be it
