AN ACT concerning regulation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Managed Care Reform and Patient Rights Act
is amended by changing Section 100 as follows:
(215 ILCS 134/100)
Sec. 100. Prohibition of waiver of rights. No health care
plan or contract shall contain any provision, policy, or
procedure that that limits, restricts, or waives any of the
rights set forth in this Act. Any such policy or procedure
shall be void and unenforceable.
