AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act is
amended by adding Section 7.5 as follows:
(20 ILCS 3305/7.5 new)
Sec. 7.5. Disaster declaration; local health departments.
During the pendency of a proclamation by the Governor
declaring that a statewide disaster impacting every county
exists under Section 7, all local health departments shall
report to and be directed by the Department of Public Health.
