1 AN ACT concerning liquor.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by
5 changing Section 6-14 as follows:
6 (235 ILCS 5/6-14) (from Ch. 43, par. 129)
7 Sec. 6-14. No person shall sell at retail any alcoholic
8 liquor on Sundays unless authorized by general ordinance or
9 resolution of the the city council, president and board of
10 trustees or county board, as the case may be; provided, however
11 that the city council, president and board of trustees or
12 county board, as the case may be, may further restrict the
13 permissible hours for the sale of alcoholic liquors under such
14 licenses in its political subdivision as the public good and
15 convenience may require.
