Amends the Toll Highway Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning payments to the owner of acquired property.

1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Toll Highway Act is amended by changing
5Section 9.25 as follows:
6 (605 ILCS 10/9.25)
7 Sec. 9.25. Comparable replacement dwelling; additional or
8supplemental housing payment. Whenever the the cost of a
9comparable replacement dwelling is greater than what the
10Authority paid the property owner, the Authority shall provide
11additional or supplemental housing payments. No person shall be
12required to move from a dwelling unless comparable replacement
13housing is available to the person. The total of additional or
14supplemental housing payments to a property owner under this
15Section shall not exceed $25,000.
