1 | AN ACT concerning civil law.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, | ||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
4 | Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding | ||||||
5 | Section 25-5-30 as follows:

6 | (735 ILCS 30/25-5-30 new) | ||||||
7 | Sec. 25-5-30. Quick-take; Village of Bridgeview. | ||||||
8 | Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a | ||||||
9 | period of 36 months after the effective date of this amendatory | ||||||
10 | Act of the 96th General Assembly by the Village of Bridgeview | ||||||
11 | for the 71st Street Railroad Grade Separation Project and other | ||||||
12 | incidental work within the Village of Bridgeview, Illinois, for | ||||||
13 | the acquisition of portions of property, temporary | ||||||
14 | construction easements, and rights of way necessary to complete | ||||||
15 | the subject project involving property bounded by 71st Street | ||||||
16 | from Roberts Road on the west to Harlem Avenue on the east, and | ||||||
17 | by Ferdinand Avenue, between 71st Street and 72nd Street, in | ||||||
18 | Bridgeview, Illinois.

19 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
20 | becoming law.
