1 AN ACT concerning civil law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Stallion and Jack Service Lien Act is
5amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
6 (770 ILCS 100/1) (from Ch. 8, par. 51)
7 Sec. 1. Every owner of any stallion or jack kept for public
8service, who, at the the request of the owner of any mare or
9jennet, or his authorized agent, shall cause such mare or
10jennet to be served by his stallion or jack, shall have a lien
11on the mare or jennet served and first lien upon the progeny of
12such mare or jennet for the service fee of such stallion or
13jack and each lien conferred by this Act shall take precedence
14of all other liens or claims thereon not duly recorded prior to
15recording claim of lien as hereinafter provided.
