AN ACT concerning property.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Director of Central Management Services, on
behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to execute and
deliver to the Forest Preserve District of Will County,
Illinois, for and in consideration of $1 paid to the
Department of Central Management Services, a quit claim deed
to the following described real property owned by the State of
Illinois:
LOTS 1, 2, 3 AND 11 (EXCEPT THEREFROM THE E. J. & E.
RAILROAD) ALL IN ASSESSOR'S SUBDIVISION OF SECTION 3,
TOWNSHIP 35 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL
MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED OCTOBER
28, 1861 IN BOOK 73, PAGE 464 1/2, IN WILL COUNTY,
ILLINOIS, EXCEPT THAT PART OF SAID LOT 1 LYING IN THE
NORTHWEST AND SOUTHWEST QUARTERS OF SAID SECTION 3 AND
EXCEPT THAT PART DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

CONTAINING 149.209 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
Section 10. Conveyance. Upon the payment of the sum of $1
to the Department of Central Management Services, and subject
to the conditions set forth herein, the Director of Central
Management Services, on behalf of the State of Illinois and

the Department of Central Management Services, shall convey by
quit claim deed all right, title, and interest of the State of
Illinois and the Department of Central Management Services in
and to the real property described in Section 5 to the Forest
Preserve District of Will County, Illinois. The conveyance of
real property authorized by Section 5 shall be made subject to
existing public utilities, existing public roads, and any and
all reservations, easements, encumbrances, licenses,
covenants, and restrictions of record.
Section 15. Recording. The Director of Central Management
Services shall obtain a certified copy of this Act within 60
days after its effective date. The Department of Central
Management Services shall ensure that a certified copy of this
Act and any quit claim deed executed pursuant to this Act that
is provided to the Forest Preserve of Will County, Illinois,
shall be recorded by the Forest Preserve of Will County,
Illinois, in the Recorder's Office of the county in which the
land is located.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
