AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections
10-20.87 and 34-18.85 as follows:
(105 ILCS 5/10-20.87 new)
Sec. 10-20.87. Information on safe storage of firearms at
home. A school board shall include information on how a parent
or guardian can safely store any firearms at home where other
policies, rules, and standards concerning student conduct are
posted and made available to parents and guardians.
